Goldilocks Porridge


Goldilocks porridge is perfect for winter or when you simply just don’t want to get out of bed.

One of the easiest, yummiest and most comforting bowls of oats you will eat and it is full of healing remedies.

Warming spices like cinnamon and black pepper with the anti-inflammatory and pain relieving power of ginger and turmeric.


  • 1 can of coconut Milk and 1 can of water - then dilute to your taste

  • Pinch of himalayan pink salt

  • 1⁄2 tsp turmeric powder or finely

  • grated turmeric root

  • 1 cinnamon bark

  • ½ tsp of cinnamon powder

  • 1⁄8 tsp ginger powder

  • Half a pinch of fine black pepper

  • 1 tsp ghee (optional)

  • 1 tsp of cardamoms

  • 2 x star anise

  • 1 tbs chia seeds


Bring the coconut and water and salt to a low simmer. Add the spices and optional ghee / coconut oil. Keep mixing until the porridge is thickened but not “sticky thick” (or whatever consistency you like). Pour into a bowl.

Add a little sweetener if you like (coconut sugar or maple syrup are great). Top with fresh blueberries and almonds and seeds, Enjoy!
